Warning light appears

Multiple lights come on after starting the car: Normal — all warning lights briefly illuminate during startup self-test. They should go off within a few seconds. If any stay on, address that specific light.
Warning light comes on then goes off: Intermittent issue. Note which light and when it appeared. Mention to mechanic at next service. If it's a red light, get checked sooner.
Can't identify the warning light: Check the Seat Ibiza owner's manual in the glove compartment. Or photograph the light and search online for 'Seat Ibiza 2012 warning light [description]'.
Light appeared after filling fuel: Check fuel cap is tightened properly (click twice). A loose cap triggers check engine light. It may take a few drive cycles to clear.
