Consistent sleep routines for Ezra covering bedtime procedure, nap routines, sleep environment, and handling common sleep challenges.

Sleep time

If something goes wrong (7)
Won't fall asleep at bedtime: Check if schedule needs adjusting; ensure adequate wind-down time
Multiple night wakings: Check for illness or teething; be consistent with response
Very short naps: Accept some days; ensure good nap environment
Skipped nap entirely: Move bedtime earlier
Standing in crib, won't lie down: Lay down calmly without much engagement; leave room; don't keep returning (creates a game)
Early morning waking before 6 AM: Check if bedtime is too early or too late; improve blackout; ensure adequate dinner; treat like night waking
Fighting naps: May not be tired enough (later nap) or overtired (earlier nap); could be transitioning to one nap
