Dairy food spoiling in warm weather: May/June in Jerusalem is warm. Keep dairy dishes refrigerated until serving. Use ice baths for buffet-style presentations. Don't leave dairy out for more than 1-2 hours.
Too exhausted to function on Yom Tov day after staying up all night: Prioritize key mitzvot: hearing the Ten Commandments, Yom Tov meals. Pre-prepare all food so no cooking is needed. Take turns napping. Skip optional activities. Hydrate and eat well.
Ezra's sleep disrupted by adults staying up late and coming/going: Put Ezra to bed in a room furthest from the living area. Use white noise. Have the at-home parent handle all nighttime needs quietly. Keep apartment entry/exit quiet.
Kitchen logistics complicated by dairy and meat on the same day: If serving both, do dairy first (breakfast/lunch) then meat for a later meal. Clean all surfaces between meals. Use separate tablecloths. Wait the required time between dairy and meat meals per your custom.
