Appliance Maintenance
Purpose
Regular maintenance of household appliances to prevent breakdowns, extend lifespan, and maintain efficiency.
Monthly Tasks

AC Filter Cleaning (Monthly in Summer)
- Turn off the AC unit
- Open the front panel
- Remove filters
- Rinse under running water
- Let dry completely (30 min)
- Replace filters and turn unit back on
Washing Machine Maintenance
- Run empty cycle at 90°C with machine cleaner or 2 cups white vinegar
- Clean detergent drawer — remove, scrub, dry
- Wipe rubber door seal — check for mold
- Clean filter/pump (usually bottom front) — have towel ready for water
- Leave door ajar between uses
