Shofar blowing times conflict with Ezra's nap schedule: Many Jerusalem shuls offer multiple shofar blowing times. Check for a later morning or early afternoon option. Some neighborhoods have outdoor shofar blowing that's more flexible with a baby.
3-day Yom Tov (Rosh Hashana into Shabbat) — food running out: Plan and cook extra. Make an eruv tavshilin on Erev Yom Tov if cooking from Yom Tov into Shabbat. Calculate 6 meals minimum for 3 days.
Hot weather making long meals uncomfortable: September in Jerusalem is warm. Use fans (set before Yom Tov on a timer), keep cold drinks ready, serve lighter side dishes alongside traditional ones.
Ezra overstimulated by guests and late meals: Maintain bedtime routine as much as possible. Set up a quiet space away from the table. Feed Ezra first if meals are running late.
