CPR

CPR protocol for unresponsive, non-breathing infants (1 month to 1 year) and children (1 year to puberty) in Israel, following MDA guidelines aligned with ILCOR consensus. Apply when: Child or infant is unresponsive and not breathing normally (absent breathing or only gasping). In children, cardiac arrest is almost always secondary to respiratory failure or hypoxia, making rescue breaths critically important.
